Joseph E. Fall, 81, of Clinton, passed away Tuesday, March 31, 2009 at Faxton-St. Luke's Hospital, New Hartford.
He was born the son of the late Joseph and Victoria Lincoln Fall, on September 24, 1927 in Rome, NY. Joseph graduated from Rome High School in 1945. Then he attended Clarkson College of Technology and earned an Associates Degree in Music in 1947. He entered the armed forces and was discharged as a 2nd Lieutenant in 1953. Joseph became self-employed as an auto mechanic and the owner of Seneca Turnpike Amico, New Hartford. He was also a member of the American Legion and enjoyed listening to music.
Joseph is survived by many nieces, nephews, and friends, including a special friend Harold Stoffle. He is predeceased by two sisters and a brother, Julia, Anna, and Anthony Fall.
A Funeral Service will be held on Saturday, April 4, 2009, at 11:00AM, at the Owens-Pavlot & Rogers Funeral Service, Inc., 35 College St., Clinton. Relatives and friends may visit on Saturday, from 10:00AM until the time of the service. Burial will be held at All Saints Cemetery, Rome.
In lieu of flowers donations may be made to the Rome Humane Society, 6247 Lamphear Rd., Rome, NY, 13440.
