Obituary of Lewis Green

Lewis Green, 70, passed away on January 22, 2009 at St. Elizabeth's Medical Center. He was born in Canandaigua, on October 19, 1938, the son of the late H. Kenneth and Grace Brown Green. Lewis graduated from Westmoreland High School. He worked many odd jobs but his last employment was in masonry for Dominic DeCarlo of Utica. He is survived by his beloved wife, Rose; two children, Robert and Billi Jo, and Roxann and Thomas Drake of North Utica; four sisters and brothers-in-law, Edna Klis of Rome, Ruth and William Januchowski of Clark Mills, Elesa and Edward Stoddard of Clark Mills, Leslie Green of Westmoreland; four brothers and sisters-in-law, Pete and Joan Green of Clark Mills, John and Leeta Green of New London, Edward and Eileen Green of Florida, and Thomas Green of Westmoreland; a sister-in-law, Katherine Green of Clinton; five grandchildren; two great grandchildren; and several nieces and nephews. Lewis was predeceased by three brothers, Dale, Allen, and Calvin Green. Funeral services will be held at 5pm on Tuesday, January 27, 2009 at the Owens-Pavlot & Rogers Funeral Service, Inc. 35 College St., Clinton, NY 13323. Relatives and friends may call on Tuesday from 3PM until the time of the service. Burial will be in Westmoreland Cemetery in the spring.
