Obituary of Faith Moore

Faith Moore 70, of New Hartford died Saturday November 29, 2008 at the Siegenthaler Center, after a fifteen year battle with Cancer. Faith had been a nurse's aide for over 27 years, retiring from the Masonic Home, Utica, in 1998. She was proud of all the double shifts she did even while receiving Chemo. Faith will be remembered for her compassion for her patients, her sharp wit and "That" smile. She was predeceased by a baby boy and her twin sister Hope. She is survived by her sister Loueen Countryman of Westmoreland, and her children Darlene Ervin of Marcy, Ken Chapman of Eaton, Robert Chapman of Frankfort, Colleen Jodoin of Utica, and Charles Moore of New Hartford, Thirteen grand children and five great grand children. Respecting Faith's request, there will no public visitation. Funeral services will be at the convenience of the family. Gratitude is expressed to her friend Dr. Butala and staff, the Faxton Chemo Unit and St. Luke's 6th floor staff. Thank you to the wonderful people at the Siegenthaler. Our hearts are at ease to know they made Faith's final days comfortable and happy. God bless all and the beautiful home that made the transition for Faith and family with dignity and ease.
