Please share a memory of Adam to include in a keepsake book for family and friends.
Adam F. Pryputniewicz, 84, of Clinton, died peacefully with his beloved wife by his side on Tuesday, January 5, 2010. He was born on the family farm on November 23, 1925, a son of the late Maciej and Karolina Nawrocki Pryputniewicz and attended the Clinton Schools. Adam was a dairy farmer his entire life until his retirement. On January 26, 1952, he was united in marriage to Fannie Vair - a blessed union of almost 58 years. Adam and Fannie, whom he always called "Mother", were truly each a half of a whole. They were always together and were the true meaning of love and devotion. They enjoyed Polka dancing and listening to music together. He was a kind and gentle soul to his three daughters and was always there for them. He is survived by his beloved wife Fannie ("Mother"); his three daughters, Judy Seelman of Clinton, Donna (Edward) Ford of Waterville and Debbie Pryputniewicz of Clinton; six grandchildren, George (Justine) Hutchings, James (Margaret) Hutchings, John (Jill) Ford, Jamie (Theresa) Ford and Kristy (Rob) Cowles; eight great-grandchildren; a sister, Stephanie Gacek of CA; two brothers, Michael (Alfreida) Pryputniewicz of Clinton and Stanley (Edna) Pryputniewicz of Waterville; a sister-in-law, Geraldine Pryputniewicz of Clinton, brother-in-law, John Gacek of Utica; and several nieces and nephews. He was predeceased by a brother Joseph and infant brother Alexander. Their hearts were broken in July 2006 when their precious granddaughter, Michelle Hutchings went missing. Funeral services will be held at 3pm Friday, January 8, 2010 at Owens-Pavlot & Rogers Funeral Service, Inc., 35 College St., Clinton. Friends are invited to call Friday from 1pm until the time of the service. A spring burial will be in Crown Hill Memorial Park. The family thanks Edwards Ambulance and WAVAC for their kind assistance. Please consider donations to Waterville Volunteer Ambulance Corp (WAVAC), PO Box 314, Waterville, NY 13480.
