Obituary of Audrey B Martin

Audrey B. Martin, 79, of Maxwell Rd, passed away at St. Elizabeth Medical Center on Saturday, July 5, 2008 with her family by her side.
She was born September 13, 1928 in Utica, a daughter of Norman and Grace Luck Cushman. On November 26, 1949 she married John Martin Sr. at New Hartford Baptist Church. The couple resided on Maxwell Rd and ran the family farm together. Audrey enjoyed tending to her flower gardens. She attended New Hartford Baptist Church.
She is survived by her husband John Sr.; her son and daughter-in-law, John and Eileen Martin Jr. of Clinton; three grandchildren, John Martin III of Vernon, Jennifer Martin of W. Winfield and Trischa Martin of Clinton; a great-granddaughter, Rebecca Nichols; her brothers and sisters, George Cushman of Waterville, Norm Cushman of Waterville, Carol Abrial of Utica, Ardeen Cushman of Ocala, FL and Alan and Libby Cushman of Winston-Salem, NC; many nieces and nephews and her canine companion, Cookie. She was predeceased by her sisters, Elaine Bellinger and Lily LaValley.
Funeral services will be held 10am Wednesday, July 9, 2008 at Owens-Pavlot Funeral Service, Inc., 35 College St., Clinton. Burial will be in Crown Hill Memorial Park. Friends may call Tuesday from 2-4 and 7-9pm at the funeral home.
