Obituary of Maria J Jones

Maria J. Jones, 75, of Clinton, died Saturday, June 14, 2008, at the Presbyterian Home for CNY. She was born in Salamanca, Spain, March 25, 1933, the daughter of Antonio and Frances Marcos Perez. She was a graduate of Clinton High School Class of 1950. At the Church of the Annunciation Clark Mills on February 12, 1955 she married Bernard S. Jones. Mr. Jones died November 4, 2007. For many years Maria was an office secretary at the Clinton High School. She was of the Catholic Faith and a member of the Old Hens Club. Surviving are a daughter and son-in-law Nancy and Al Dohn of Utica and a son Doug Jones and his fiance Mary of Loma Linda, CA; a grandson Benjamin Dohn of Utica; two brothers and sisters-in-law Ramon and Roberta Perez of Clinton and Mario and Edith Perez of Stittville; also several nieces and nephews including special niece and nephew Tom and Dorothy Jones of Munnsville. Graveside services will be held Friday, June 20, 2008 at Noon at Kirkland Cemetery. There will be no public calling hours. The family would like to extend their deepest appreciation to the nurses and staff of the Presbyterian Home for making Marias last week comfortable.
