Obituary of Frieda Gehron

Frieda Gehron, 101, formerly of Cleveland Place, passed away Wednesday, May 28, 2008 at the Lutheran Home.
She was born March 15, 1907 in Bohlsbach, Germany, a daughter of Carl and Teresa Reinbold Schrempp. On July 16, 1930 she married Carl H. Gehron a union of 65 years until Mr. Gehrons death on December 5, 1995. She was a member of the Zion Lutheran Church and its Ladies Aide Society and the Kirkland Senior Citizens. Frieda always had a garden and enjoyed her time tending to it.
She is survived by her daughter and son-in-law, Ann and David McCarthy of Clinton; three grandchildren and their spouses, Robert and Johanna Gehron McCarthy of Batavia, Wendy and Greg Hadynski of Whitesboro and Ted Gehron McCarthy of Whitesboro; a great-grandson John Carl Hadynski; and several nieces and nephews.
Friends are invited to attend funeral services Saturday at 11:00 AM from Our Savior Chapel at the Lutheran Home, Utica St., Clinton. Burial will be in Crown Hill Memorial Park, Clinton.
The family would like to thank the nurses and staff of the Martin Luther Nursing Home, Willow Way Unit for their kindness and care during Friedas illness
