Obituary of Joseph J. Landry

Joseph J. Landry, 53, of Clinton, died Friday April 4, 2008, at St. Elizabeth Hospital after a courageous battle with his illness.
He was born in Utica, June 13, 1954, and was a graduate of Clinton High School.
Joe operated the concessions at the Clinton Arena for many years. He also was a photo journalist with Fraternal Composite of Utica for several years. He was of the Episcopal Faith. Joe was an avid golfer with memberships to the Westmoreland Golf Club and Seven Oaks Golf Club, Hamilton.
Surviving are his close friends Barbara Litz, David and Karen Litz, the Litz Family, David Smith, Mike Orsino, Jennifer Orsino, Bob Meelan, John Gazzal, the Alteri family, Teresa Nolan and numerous other friends, along with his extended family at the Clinton Area and his canine companion Lucy.
Funeral Services will be held at the convenience of the family with interment in Kirkland Cemetery. There will be no public calling hours. Those so desiring please consider donations to the American Cancer Society, Memorial Processing Center, P.O. Box# 7, E. Syracuse, NY 13057-0007.
