Jeanne Stockbridge, 73, of Kirkland, died Saturday, March 28, 2008, at Faxton-St. Lukes Hospital after a brief illness.
She was born June 16, 1934 in Utica, the daughter of Howard and Winifred Meyers and was educated in the Clinton Schools. She married Donald Stockbridge on September 7, 1951. Before her retirement, Jeanne was employed at the Martin Luther Home in Clinton.
Surviving are her husband, Donald; four daughters Donna (Henry) Green of Waterville, Denise (Larry) Bottorff of Waterloo, Diana (Mike) Lenahan of Whitesboro and Debbie (Dan) Crotty of Okeechobee, FL; three sons, Scott of Rome, Guy of Westmoreland and Kyle (Debbie) of Clinton; thirteen grandchildren; and eight great-grandchildren.
In keeping with her wishes, there will be no public services. Arrangements are entrusted to Owens-Pavlot Funeral Service, Inc., Clinton.
