Obituary of Catherine G. White

Catherine G. White, 67, of Chadwicks, passed away with her family by her side on Tuesday, December 31, 2013 at Faxton-St. Luke's Healthcare. She was born on October 4, 1946 in Richmond, VA, a daughter of the late Burton J. and Mary (Chester) Terpenning. Cathy graduated from Clinton Central School and Morrisville College. On September 15, 1978, she was united in marriage to Ray L. White at Clinton United Methodist Church. She retired from BOCES after 40 years of service. Cathy was a member of Clinton United Methodist Church. She was an excellent cook and loved to make meals for her family. Cathy also enjoyed sewing and making crafts, but she loved spending time with her grandchildren most of all. She is survived by her husband, Ray; her two sons and a daughter, John White of Chadwicks, David and Lisa White of Colorado and Kim Christensen of Chadwicks; her grandchildren, Brian, Chloe, Parker, Derek and Rachel; brother-in-law and sister-in-law, Jack and Chris Race; many cousins, nieces and nephews. She was predeceased by her parents and her sister and brother-in-law, Sandra and George Morrill. Per Cathy's wishes, there will be no public services.
