Obituary of Ann C Joseph

Ann C. Joseph, 91, of Old Bristol Rd. (formerly Ann Cully of New Hartford), passed away on Thursday, December 12, 2013 with her family by her side. Ann was born in Utica, NY the daughter of the late John Cully and Mary "Herbert" Cully. She grew up in New Hartford and graduated from New Hartford Central School Class of 1941. Before her marriage Ann worked as a bookkeeper at Utica Mutual Insurance. On November 25, 1954 she was united in marriage to Abraham A. Joseph at St. Louis Gonzaga Church. Ann and Abe were married for 57 loving years before his passing on May 5, 2012. With her husband, Ann helped build the Wheel Drive-In Restaurant in Kirkland, NY. Ann worked there for many years while raising her family. She was a member of Church of the Annunciation, Clark Mills. Ann is survived by her four children and their spouses, Michele and Patrick Hughes of Carrollton, TX, Carol Brown of Syracuse, NY, Chistopher and Janet Joseph of Leesburg, VA, and Cynthia Joseph and Ron Covey of Frankfort, NY; four grandchildren, Heather Rielly, and Jessie, Malorie and Jake Joseph; a great-grandson, Jack Rielly; her sister, Mary Shumar of Easton, PA; her sister-in-law, Francis Gisondi of Clinton, NY; and several nieces and nephews. She is pre-deceased by her brothers, John, Namon and Phil Cully of Graham Ave., New Hartford, NY. A mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated at 10 a.m., Wednesday, December 18, 2013, at Church of the Annunciation, Clark Mills. Burial will be at Calvary Cemetery, Utica, NY.
