Obituary of Robert J. Kulpa
Robert J Kulpa, 74, of Clark Mills, NY, passed away unexpectedly at home Wednesday, January 1st, 2025. Robert was born November 9th, 1950, in Utica, NY; the son of Walter and Carmella (Diviccaro) Kulpa. Robert was a graduate of Proctor Class of 1968. Robert was a laborer for Charles Gaetano Construction for 38 years, and a member of the labor union Local 35. His greatest achievement was receiving his 50 years pin in December 2024.
United in marriage on October 2, 1971 to Nancy (Prevo) Kulpa. He was a dedicated family man. He was the proud father of three sons. While his sons were young, they enjoyed camping, fishing, barbecuing, and multiple home improvement projects. Robert is survived by his wife Nancy and three sons Keith (Clinton); Todd (Clark Mills); Greg (Clinton). As well as his 10 grandchildren (Tim, Jon, Austin, Michael, Killian, Kim, Kooper, Tyler, Zach, Jackson; and two great-granddaughters (Krymson and Callie). He is also survived by brother-in law Albert and three nephews Jason, Brian, and Jacob Dewey.
He was a proud grandfather and would do anything for his grandchildren including attending sporting events, always having his pool ready for a cool dip, and baking cookies for the holidays. Robert enjoyed visits from his son’s dogs including Buddy, Maya, Juna, and Holly.
He was predeceased by his parents, one brother Richard who was killed in Vietnam, and his K-9 companions Linus and Lucy.
Relatives and friends are respectfully invited to Owens-Pavlot & Rogers Funeral Service at 35 College St., Clinton, NY on Monday, January 6th from 4pm-7pm. A short memorial service will start at 7pm. At the conclusion of the service, there will be a Celebration of Life gathering at the Clark Mills Firehouse at 7700 Main St. Clark Mills, NY. Burial will be private to the family.
In lieu of flowers, the family requests donations to be made to the Clark Mills Volunteer Fire Department, P.O. Box 0 Clark Mills, NY 13321 in Robert’s name.
