Obituary of Susan M. Ehre

Susan M. Ehre, 82, of Holland Patent, NY, passed away on December 21, 2024. Born on September 25, 1942, she was the daughter of the late Victor Tyndall Ehre, Sr. and Allison De Wolfe Ehre. Susan kept herself busy working at various local companies including Mele Manufacturing, Meyda Glass, The Grand Union, Duofold, and the ARC. She enjoyed her work and always showed up with a smile and ready for a good conversation. 

Susan loved special outings with her family, especially treasure hunting at garage and estate sales. She had a knack for finding costume jewelry and many other gems. She enjoyed making beautiful needlepoint creations.  Susan always looked forward to holidays and birthday celebrations with her family. Susan had such a zest for life and will be remembered as forever young. Susan had a kind heart and a positive outlook on life, her warm presence will be missed by those who knew her. 

Susan is survived by her brothers Victor T. (Lynne) Ehre, Jr. of Lady Lake, Fl, Donald (Cynthia) Ehre of Utica, NY; nieces and nephews Heather (Troy) Slough, Donald (Alicia) Ehre, Trey Ehre; great nieces and nephews Oliver and Mason Slough, Logan, Grayson, and Cadence Ehre, and many other special family members. She was predeceased by her parents and her sister-in-law Bonnie T. Ehre.

All are invited to call from 1-3pm on Friday, January 10, 2024, at Owens-Pavlot & Rogers Funeral Service, 35 College St., Clinton, NY.  Funeral services will follow at 3pm. Graveside services will be at 10am on Saturday at Forest Hill Cemetery.
