Obituary of Frances T Zeh

Clinton - Frances Techmanski Zeh, 78, of St. Mary's Ave., passed away suddenly Sunday, November 3, 2013 at Faxton-St. Luke's Hospital. She was born in Utica on January 19, 1935, a daughter of the late, Marek and Aniela Techmanski. Before moving to Clinton and raising her family, Fran grew up in Utica and graduated from Holy Trinity and UFA. On June 2, 1956, she was united in marriage to Richard C. Zeh. Fran retired from Hamilton College where she as employed for the Food Service. She was a dedicated and faithful member of St. Mary's Church in Clinton. Fran was an avid bingo player, a member of Yorkville Seniors and especially loved baking pies for the holidays and cooking for her family. She is survived by her beloved husband, Richard, of Clinton; her three sons, Richard Zeh and Ann Silapanont of Chandler, AZ, Mark and Kim Zeh of Saratoga Springs, NY and Paul and Susan Zeh of New Jersey; two cherished grandchildren, Katie and Zach; her sisters and brothers, Gladys Cichowski, Peter and Betty Techmanski, Loretta Sunderhaft, John and Jennie Rose Techmanski, and Edward and Diane Techmanski; two sisters-in-law and a brother-in-law, Helen Techmanski, Carl Evans and Ann Techmanski; and many nieces and nephews. She was predeceased by her brothers and sisters, Michael Techmanski, Marie Evans, Bernice Lomanto, Stella Calidonna, Jenny Chomka and Stanley Techmanski. A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated at 10am Wednesday, November 6, 2013 at St. Mary's Church in Clinton with burial in St. Mary's Cemetery. All are invited to call Tuesday from 4-7pm at Owens-Pavlot & Rogers Funeral Service, Inc., 35 College St., Clinton. In lieu of flowers, please consider donations to Clinton Fire Department, COCVAC or American Cancer Society.
