Douglass “Poppy” Wilson 90 of Clinton.
Passed away on November 24,2024.
He was born to the late Vira and Frank Wilson on April 27,1934.
On August 29,1959 he married Nancy Bailey. He was most proud of the home he built his family on Norton Ave in Clinton.
He was a genuine man. Loved by all who knew him. He was best known as Poppy. A name he loved to be called. Given to him by his first grandson Steven ( aka Noisy Dougie)
He was predeceased by his wife Nancy, and his daughter Annie.
He is survived by his son Charles. Daughter Colleen and her husband Joseph. Whom he shared a close bond with. Many grandchildren and great grandchildren.
We will see ya later poppy. We know you’ll be “ settin there waiting for us”
