Obituary of Karen Rudd

New Hartford - Rome -  Karen Ann (Schuler) Rudd of New Hartford,  passed away at the Lutheran Home, Clinton on November 11, 2024.

Karen was born in Rome, a daughter of Philip and Dorothy Bailey Schuler.   She graduated from RFA.   On February 12, 1972 in St. Mary's Church in Rome, she was united in marriage to Frank R. Rudd, a loving and blessed union for 52 years.

She worked at Rome Turney Radiator and the Presbyterian Residential Community (Assisted Living).

Karen is survived by her husband, Frank and their children, Michael Rudd, Kelly Rudd, Lori (Chad) Roscup, Jennifer (Maria) Rudd and Kortney Palmer.   Also five grandchildren, Karma, Travis, George, Aiden and Collin.   She also leaves her sister, Debbie Berry, and brother, Philip Schuler, and sister-in-law, Barbara Rudd, and many special nieces, nephews and cousins.

Karen was predeceased by her parents, daughter, Amy Elizabeth Rudd, sister, Sister Janice, brother, Edward Schuler, and brothers-in-law, Jay Berry and Larry N. Rudd, Sr.

Funeral services and burial will be held privately at the convenience of the family at St. Mary's Cemetery, Rome.   Funeral arrangements entrusted to Owens Pavlot & Rogers Funeral Home, Clinton.

Donations may be sent to St. Jude's Children's Hospital, Memphis, Tennessee or a humane society of your choice.
