Obituary of Frederick P. Mosher
Frederick Mosher, 78, of Clinton passed away peacefully on October 16, 2024. Born on February 1, 1946, in Utica, NY, he was a son of the late John and Helen Cassort Mosher. Following graduation Fred was a dedicated employee at Chicago Pneumatic Tool Company as a Machine operator for over 28 years. He was later employed by Bakers Green House and Clinton Manor Apartments until his deserved retirement.
Following retirement, he spent his later years surrounded by family always lending a hand often watching his grandkids, nephews and nieces and always bringing a smile and joy to their lives. Fred had the gift of bringing joy and kindness to anyone who needed it. Fred was a beloved father, grandfather, brother, uncle, and friend. He was genuinely loved by all; his kind, gentle presence and warm smile will be missed by everyone fortunate enough to have known him.
Fred loved his family and had a way of making each of them feel special and important. He was an especially important figure in his grandchildren Brandon and Savanah's life, both forever grateful for his guidance and love growing up. He was especially close to his daughter Lorie who served as his caretaker in his time of need. In true Fred form he wanted to make sure recognition was given to Lorie for her dedication to him, Lorie was his angel with whom he shared a special bond. His loss leaves behind a huge void in her life.
Fred is survived by his daughters Lorie Mosher-Blair of Clinton and Amy Mosher of Herkimer; a son Jason Mosher of Utica, his grandson Brandon Blair aka Sonny boy of LaFayette and granddaughter Savanah Blair of Rome, grandchildren Jenna and Briella; his cherished great grandchildren Wyatt, Joseph, and Rosalynn Wilcox of Rome; siblings Patricia (Doug) Rockwell of Clinton, Douglas (Susan) Mosher of Clinton, Barbara (Seymour) Stockbridge of Clinton, Sharon (Dan) Mahoney of Clark Mills, Kathy (Robert) Felski of Clinton, Kenneth (Gail) Mosher of Clinton, and Allen (Brenda) Mosher of Clinton; many beloved nieces, nephews, great nieces and great nephews and cousins.
