Obituary of Jeanette M Waryha

Jeanette "Peggy" Waryha, 86, of Norton Avenue, passed away Tuesday, October 22, 2013 at Faxton-St. Luke's Hospital. She was born in Philadelphia, PA on April 1, 1927, a daughter of Daniel and Jean (Wisner) Kinsley. On August 12, 1961, she was united in marriage to John E. Waryha, a blessed union until his death on November 16, 1988. She worked as a secretary for many businesses and was a substitute teacher at Clinton Central School for many years. She was a member of St. Mary's Church and was secretary for the parish council. Peggy was a longtime volunteer and contributor for the Lutheran Home. She was also an avid supporter of the Stevens-Swan Humane Society. She is survived by a brother-in-law, Dante (Dan) Tieri; a niece and her family Linda and William Conway and their children, Brian Conway and Faith Ferguson; nephew and his family, Dante Jr. and Karen and their son Nicholas; many friends including Carm and Fred Foster and their family. A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated Friday, October 25, 2013 at 9:30am at St. Mary's Church in Clinton. Burial will be at 2pm Friday at Woodlawn National Cemetery. Arrangements by Owens-Pavlot & Rogers Funeral Service, Inc., Clinton.
