Please share a memory of Debra to include in a keepsake book for family and friends.

Debra J. DiNitto, 63, of Marcy, passed away at home on Sunday, August 18, 2024, with her loving husband by her side.

She was born September 23, 1960, the daughter of Arthur and Dorothy (Bowen) Howlett.  Debra was a graduate of Westmoreland Central School.  She was employed as a certified nurse’s assistant at Presbyterian Home for many years.  Debra was united in marriage to Rocco DiNitto on June 23, 1987, at Westmoreland Methodist Church.  Debbie was a talented pianist and played at Sunday Services for Hecla Union Church.  She enjoyed word search puzzles and playing shuffleboard for the team at Merril’s Tavern.  Debbie and Rocco looked forward to their annual trip to Old Forge.  She enjoyed spending time with her family most of all.

She is survived by her devoted husband Rocco; her brother and sister-in-law, Bob and Paula Howlett of Westmoreland; her brother and his partner, Edward Howlett and Bill Griffith of PA; her aunt and uncles, Judy and Tony Mariotti of Westmoreland and Charles Thayler of New Hartford; many nieces and their spouses, Carrie and Ryan O’Grady and Amy and Brandon Canning; great niece and great nephew, Scarlett and Teagan O’Grady. She was predeceased by her parents, Art and Dorothy Howlett, and her in-laws, Frances and Rocco DiNitto.

The family thanks Deserai and Gina from Committed Home Care for their care and compassion.
