Obituary of Alissa Marie Gardner

Please share a memory of Alissa to include in a keepsake book for family and friends.

Alissa Marie Gardner, 36, of Clinton, passed away on Tuesday, June 4, 2024, at Wynn Hospital with her loving family by her side.
Alissa was born on April 16, 1988, to Jon Gardner and Mary Heintz. She grew up in Clinton and attended Clinton schools graduating in 2006. After graduating she went on and received her associate degree from Utica School of Commerce. She then went on to further her education and received her medical assistant certificate. She was a very hard worker and held many positions, most recently working for the Hanger Clinic in Utica as the Senior Office Administrator. She was very passionate and proud of her place in the medical field as she was able to help others.
Alissa was a strong woman who loved her family and her friends more than anything else in the world. She was a wonderful mother, a loving sister and daughter. She was a fighter and a force to be reckoned with as she battled through many of the physical and medical challenges she has faced throughout the past few years, but she never gave up. She was the best friend that anyone could ask for. She was full of life, fun, loving, happy, and she would give anything to help a friend in need. But most of all she had a heart of gold, as she saw the best in everyone that
many others couldn't see. Alissa would do anything for her daughter Cali, as she loved her more than anything else in the world.
Alissa will be missed by her daughter and daughter's father, Cali Jacqulyn Coogan and Chris Coogan; parents and their partners, Mary Heintz and Ray Madore, Jon Gardner and Erin Rook; her siblings, Jeremy and his wife Ashley Gardner, Autumn Gardner, Richard Paul Heintz III, Deanna Heintz; nieces and nephews, Trevor, Maelyn, Colton, Hunter; Her cousin and best friend Ashley Mosher; a large extended family and many dear friends that will never forget her. She was predeceased by her grandparents, James and Jacqulyn Wadsworth, Robert and Judith Perry; and her great grandpa, Grandpa Gardner.
