Obituary of Nancy L Murphy

Nancy L. Murphy, 69, of Madison Street, passed away on Monday, September 16, 2013 at St. Elizabeth Medical Center. She was born June 21, 1944, the daughter of Raymond and Yvonne (Goulette) Richmond and graduated from Stockbridge Valley Schools. She was united in marriage to William J. Murphy on August 7, 1982 and the couple spent their life together and raised their family in Oriskany Falls. Nancy worked at the Martin Luther Nursing Home for many years and was a member of the Kelley-Phillips American Legion Auxiliary. She is survived by her husband, William Murphy; three daughters and a son-in-law, Cynthia and Douglas Jordan of Westmoreland, Lisa Miles and David Case of Rome and Susan and Billy Marriott of Waterville; four grandsons, Collin and wife Ashley, Tyler, Jesse and Christian; a granddaughter, Savanna; and her sister Kay Yvonne Richmond of Oneida. She was predeceased by her grandson Zachary, her parents, four brothers, a sister and her uncle Raymond Goulette. Funeral services will be held at 11pm on Thursday, September 19, 2013 at Owens-Pavlot & Rogers Funeral Service, Inc, 35 College St., Clinton with burial to follow in Deansboro Cemetery. All are invited to call from 4-7pm on Wednesday, September 18, 2013 at the funeral home. Please consider donations to Oriskany Falls Ambulance, Oriskany Falls Fire Dept or the Kelley-Phillips Post 569 American Legion.
