Obituary of Minnie M. Neidhart

Minnie M. Neidhart, 96 of Clinton, Passed away on Saturday, May 11, 2024, with her loving family by her side.

Minnie was born on February 29, 1928, in Clinton, NY to the late Henry and Agnes (Hoffmiester) Seidsma. She grew up in Clinton and attended Clinton schools. On February 22, 1947 she married the love of her life Adolf Neidhart and shared a loving union with him until his passing in 1975.

Minnie was a hard-working woman, working at the Knitting Mill in her younger years and then raising six children.Once her children were grown, she went on to work at Utica National Insurance in food services. Minnie was passionate about her job and truly loved serving and conversing with the staff. She was a family woman who loved having her children and grandchildren around. Minnie was very involved in the Catholic Church and was a favorite religion teacher to many over the years.

Minnie is survived by her children, Edward & Kathy Neidhart, Susan and Nelson Dodge, Sherry and Richard Gardner, Cindy and Terry Cleveland, Mike and Tammy Neidhart; 17 grandchildren, 38 great-grandchildren, and 4 great-great-grandchildren; brothers, Gerald Siedsma Teddy and Sandy Siedsma; a large extended family and many friends. She was predeceased by her son, daughters-in-laws and grandson, Jimmy and Karen Neidhart, Barbara Neidhart and James Neidhart Jr..

All are invited to attend Minnie’s funeral service on Saturday , May 18, 2024, at 12PM at Owens-Pavlot and Rogers Funeral Service, 35 College Street Clinton, NY. Calling hours will be held before the service from 10am-12pm. Burial will take place immediately following her funeral service at Sunset Hill Cemetery in Clinton, NY The family invites all to attend a gathering at the American Legion in Oriskany Falls to commence after the cemetery services. .
