Obituary of Milton Lee Webster
Milton Lee Webster
The smirk, the stubbornness, the passion, and the joy for life. All that knew and met him enjoyed his company and respected his love for his family, his work as a draftsman at Munson Machinery for 64 years, his fishing, and his golf.
Milton Lee Webster, 82, passed away in peace on March 29, 2024, and is now reunited in heaven with his beloved wife, Charlene G. (Evans) Webster. Their love was shared in body and spirit for 68 years, with the high school sweethearts having been married on August 9, 1959.
He will be missed by his children, James and Virginia Webster of FL, Michael and Noreen Webster of New Hartford, Charles Webster and Georganne Garnsey of Herkimer, Margaret and Salvatore Sparrow of Clinton, Dennis and Darsy Webster of Prospect, Sharon Thrasher and John Pitera of New Hartford, and Mark Webster and Liz Bridgman of Vernon; eighteen grandchildren; eight great-grandchildren. He is also survived by his brother Alfred Webster; sister Sue Monaghan; his large extended family, including his many nieces and nephews; his best friend Eugene Felshaw; and his Munson Machinery family. He was predeceased by his parents and his wife Charlene.
All are invited to call Wednesday, April 3, 2024 from 5-7pm at Owens-Pavlot & Rogers Funeral Service, 35 College St., Clinton. Funeral services will be held at 10am on Thursday, April 4, 2024, at the funeral home. He will be laid to rest next to his wife at Forest Hill Cemetery.
