Dick and I were great friends. We went from Kindergarten to graduation together. He lived on the street behind me (Jackie lived three doors down on the same street as me). We all lived in this small neighborhood just beyond the Utica city line. We played baseball in the street, spin the bottle in Jacque’s garage, rode our bikes to Summit Park to go swimming (who would let there kids do that now), and went sledding in the street (until the sand truck showed up). I don’t think we could have asked for a better childhood. Good bye my friend, I will miss you.
