Obituary of Joan R. Cammer

Joan Allene Roberts Cammer, 89, fell asleep in death on Sunday, January 14, 2024, at home with her loving family by her side.

Joan was born August 3, 1934, in Utica, NY. She was a devoted daughter, wife, mother, and grandmother. Joan was a lifelong, faithful member of the worldwide Congregation of Jehovah’s Witnesses. She loved traveling, music, dancing, and extending compassion and hospitality to others. However, Joan’s greatest love was of loyally worshiping her Creator, Jehovah God, and teaching others about Him.

Joan was predeceased by her parents, Gertrude and Allen Roberts, her husband of 62 years, Joseph Cammer, son Jonathan, and grandson Jordan Ingalls. She is survived by her children, James Cammer, Jerald Cammer (Carol), Julie Ingalls (John), and Janet Adkisson (Stephen); grandchildren, Jenna, Jaclyn, Jarrod, Jessi, Justine (Jethro), and Jadon; and many cousins.

Family and friends are invited to attend a Memorial Service on Saturday, January 27, 2024, at 1pm EST, either in person at the Kingdom Hall of Jehovah’s Witnesses, 585 Trenton Rd., Utica, NY, or online. Please contact the family for service information.
