Obituary of Edward J. Kurdziolek, Sr.

Edward Joseph Kurdziolek, 79, passed away peacefully on Wednesday, October 18, 2023, at the Lutheran Home in Kirkland, NY.

He was born on December 20^th, 1943, in Utica, NY to the late Stanley and Katherine (Bush) Kurdziolek. Edward was a successful plumber for much of his adult life. He truly enjoyed hunting and fishing and being outdoors. On May 21, 1983, he married Alice Newman. They spent many wonderful years together until her passing in 2012.

Edward is survived by his children; Edward and Ruth Kurdziolek, Pinson, TN, and Linda Kurdziolek, Fort Lauderdale, FL; and grandchildren, Joseph, Michael, and Lucas. He was predeceased by his wife, Alice; brother, Stanley Kurdziolek; and sister, Beverly Dingman.

The family wishes to extend a special thank you to the staff at Lutheran Care, especially those in the Saul Unit who showed so much care and compassion for Edward.

Edward will be laid to rest in Evergreen Cemetery, Westmorland, next to his wife.
