Obituary of Elizabeth A Pryor

Elizabeth Adliza Melioris Pryor, 93, a longtime resident of Clinton, passed away at the Presbyterian Home on Wednesday, July 17, 2013. She was born on August 8, 1919, in Oneida, NY, a daughter of the late Stephen and Adliza Flanagan Melioris. On June 14, 1940, she was united in marriage to Daniel H. Pryor, and enjoyed a loving union of more than 60 years until his passing on March 11, 2003. Elizabeth had retired from Oneida County after many years. She was a member of St. Mary's Church in Clinton. She is survived by her daughter, Adliza Walker, of Verona; three grandchildren, Patrick Walker, Cyndi Deep, and Susan Walker; six great-grandchildren, Rob Deep (Kristen), Mike Deep, Patrick Walker, Christopher Walker, Jordan Walker, and Marc Walker; and two great-great-grandchildren, Macie and Matthew Deep; two brothers, Steve Melioris (Beverly) of Rome and Lincoln Melioris (Barbara) of Arizona; her sisters-in-law, Patricia Melioris and Grace Melioris, both of Rome; and several special nieces and nephews, including a special nephew, Clifford Smales of Connecticut. She was predeceased by her parents, her sisters Laura Tyo, Elsie Smales, and Helen Brown; her brothers Paul Melioris and Joseph Melioris; her son-in-law, Alfred Walker; and her grandson-in-law Robert Deep, Jr. A Mass will be celebrated at 10:00am Saturday, July 20, 2013, at St. Mary's Church, Clinton. Following Mass, all are invited to call that afternoon (Saturday) from Noon - 2pm at Owens-Pavlot & Rogers Funeral Service, Inc., 35 College St., Clinton, NY. Burial will be in St. Mary's Cemetery Monday, July 22 at 10am.
