Aunt Shirley and her husband, Bill, took in my mother, my brother, and I over 50 years ago despite having two of their own children living at home. She and Bill provided us with a place to stay and treated us with love and kindness. We have never forgotten this. My mom spoke very fondly of their hospitality and love for three virtual strangers. We will never forget them.
