While Bryan was in school at WCS he was a pleasure to be around. His love of machines reminded me of myself years ago. He delighted in utilizing some of the parts I could spare and we loaded them up and delivered to his shop. It’s rare to meet someone so enamored with machines at that age. As usual we lost touch in the last few years, but I will always remember him with a big smile for his love of life in the here and now!
RIP young man!

Bryan,
As the days go by after your passing, I hope you can look down and see you have not been forgotten but remembered and loved by so many. It brings us comfort seeing the amount of different people around the world you have not only impacted, but set such an example for.
The light, fun, wisdom, happiness, and courage you carried with you wherever you traveled is unforgettable.
I am forever grateful for the friendship you brought Tristan and the role model, Uncle Bryan, we are able to tell your “godson”, Teddy, about.
We wish you were here to watch him grow up, and I wish you were here to make more memories with us on every holiday.
We will never let your memory fade.
May you rest in peace

To those who held Bryan close - I want you to know that Bryan went to sleep that final night happy and loved, after a night spent at our local dive bar, laughing and requesting Slayer (they wouldn’t let us put it on, haha).
One thing we bonded over was our faith, and thankfulness that God has blessed us with life. We respected the fact that He can also take it away.
God walks with us all, and now Bryan walks with God.
See you on the other side, Bryan.

Bryan,
You were an incredible human being. I loved so many things about you, but my favorite things were your intelligence, your perspective on life, and your dark, offensive sense of humor. You were so full of adventure and I loved listening to you talk about your experiences and your goals for the future. I couldn’t help but feel inspired by your passion for everything you were interested in, even if I didn’t understand you when you would attempt to explain physics concepts to me.
I’m going to miss your neurotic energy, corny jokes, holding your hand, and singing Careless Whisper in the car at the top of our lungs. I’ll forever cherish the happiness you made me feel every time we were together. I hope you feel the love from your family and friends wherever you are.
And to his friends and family, I hope we can all find comfort in the fact that Bryan will always be with us in spirit.
Love,
Rachael

We, regrettably, had only a few short weeks to get to know Bryan. Bryan’s energy around the office was incredible, and he was enthusiastic about supporting our mission to protect the military overseas. Bryan demonstrated a thirst for knowledge and was excited about a future as a national security professional. We were thankful for Bryan’s prior service in the military, and he was in turn deeply thankful for his fellow veterans and comrades-in-arms. Without exception, he demonstrated, on a daily basis, his commitment to those around him. Bryan’s energy and focus reminded us often of General Patton’s famous quote: “Lead me, follow me, or get out of my way.” Bryan was prepared to follow others in support of a good cause, but if you weren’t prepared to lead him, he was prepared to take charge and do great things… and if you couldn’t keep up, best not get in his way. Bryan will be missed by all of us – his coworkers, fellow veterans, and the country he served. -- Logos Technologies

Thoughts and prayers sent to the family and friends. Bryan was the first kid I met when I started the Sheriffs Office, as he would ride his bicycle over to where I was so he could introduce himself and talk. He always spoke of his grandfather, who I worked with, and he was fun to talk to. I always enjoyed the times we spoke. As he grew up and got older, we would still see each other and have a laugh. Thank you for your service to our country. You will be missed.

Never got to meet this absolute stud. But he’s always been a solid friend and brother in arms. He served his country well in many foreign countries and will always be remembered. It’s really sad that this happened to him. I mourn with the family. Thank you guys for being so supportive and sharing this information with us. - His Marine friend Raymond Avalos

To Bryan,
This will be a loss that will never heal. you were one of my best friends, and one of the best Infantryman I had the pleasure of serving with. You brought so much happiness to those around you on and off duty, you had an uncanny ability to make even the worst days seem just a little less shitty and the world will be a little darker without you. I hope that Wherever you may be now, you know that you will never be forgotten and that I, as well as many others, will remember you always, You were an amazing friend. Till we meet again, I love you brother.
To his family,
I hope that it will bring you comfort to know that Bryan was loved by so many people and that he made a positive impact wherever he was. My deepest condolences go out to you and it was an honor to know him.

Wood and I served together in C co 1-17IN 2-2SBCT. One of my favorite memories was out in NTC, we had a challenge between us about who could get their Stryker airborne first. I lost and man he razzed me to hell about it. He’d walk up and give me a facetious salute and say “airborne” just to mess with me. We were in the bone yard waiting to get reconstituted and he did that on my own truck’s ramp and I chased him in circles with a hatchet over it. there were “just a few” concerned on-lookers. I'm gonna miss you buddy, you had a way of making a crappy situation not seem so bad. Rest easy, I'll catch you when it's my turn to go Home.
