Obituary of Rose L. Green

Rose L. Green, 78, of Frankfort, passed away unexpectedly on July 11, 2023. 

She was born on February 22, 1945, in Gloversville, a daughter of the late Leon and Maude (Shepard) Champion.  She was united in marriage to Lewis Green until his passing on January 22, 2009.  Rose enjoyed reading and doing puzzles.  She was an excellent baker, making treats for her family and friends.  She could often be found watching the cooking shows.   

She will be missed by her daughter and son-in-law, Roxann and Thomas Drake; son Robert Green; grandchildren, Samantha, Allison and Eric, John, and Thomas and Christina; great-grandchildren, Savana, Madison, Reilly, Lukas and Katie; her sisters, Sparky Hanson, Bernie Aney and Dawn Champion; her many in-laws; and several nieces and nephews.  She was predeceased by her husband, Lewis; her brother Leon Champion; sisters, Joyce Tyler, Helen Aney, June Champion and Sharon Kellum; and many in-laws. 

Funeral services will be held at 4pm Tuesday, July 18, 2023 at Owens-Pavlot & Rogers Funeral Services, 35 College St., Clinton.  All are invited to call Tuesday from 3-4pm prior to the service.
