Justin was my student one of my first years of teaching at Clinton High School. Not all students are kind to new teachers so I remembered Justin all these years. He was friendly, polite, cooperative, and sweet. So I wasn't surprised to see what a sweet girl Avery is when she entered my classroom last year. She spoke of her Dad a few times and it was obvious that she adored him. I'm so sorry for this terrible loss you've all suffered.

Justin was such a sweet, kind young man full of wit and talent. He had a wonderful sense of humor and his laugh was contagious. His heart was always in the right place. From our many conversations, I knew he adored Avery and his life was centered around her. I'll miss hearing all your travel and music stories, and especially sharing proud moments and stories about Avery. My deepest and most sincere and heartfelt prayers and condolences to Avery, Jon, Ellen, Karen, Emily, all of Justin's extended family. May they find strength to carry on. May you Rest in Peace Justin. May you soar on wings like eagles.
