Lena B. Borden, 94, passed away at home on April 25, 2023, with her family by her side. 

She was born on August 30, 1928, in Worth, NY, the daughter of the late Burleigh James and Violet (Smith) Roberts.  On June 30, 1951, Lena was united in marriage to Charles Borden.  The couple shared nearly 62 years together until Charles’ passing on January 28, 2012. 

Lena is survived by her two daughters and sons-in-law, Linda and Donn Croyle and Sheila and Paul Fitchette; ten grandchildren; ten great-grandchildren; and her brother David Russell Roberts.  She was predeceased by her husband and daughter Debra Rolewicz. 

Funeral Services will be held at 2pm on Sunday, May 14, 2023, at Hamilton Congregation of Jehovah’s Witness, 4849 State Route 26, Eaton, New York 13334.
