Obituary of Lila Ann Moda

Lila Ann Moda, 88, passed away February 28, 2023. 

Born in Utica, Lila was the daughter of the late Peter and Anna Khoury. She graduated from UFA and worked in the insurance field and then for P&C Markets until her retirement. Lila was a member of the Clark Mills Historical Society and the Kirkland Senior Citizens in Clark Mills. 

In 1960, she married Joe Moda and had a wonderful life together until his passing in 1994. 

To mourn her passing are her son Joe and daughter-in-law Linda of Clinton, and her son Paul of Clark Mills; her sister Theresa of Liverpool; her grandchildren, Joseph and Rosalie Moda III, Alyssa Moda, and Ashlee Moda, who will greatly miss their Sito; and many nieces and nephews. 

She lost her 4-year-old son Albert in 1970 to cancer. She also lost her sisters Celia of Rochester and Katherine of Liverpool. 

As per her request, there will be no calling hours. The family will receive guests prior to the Memorial Mass at 10am Saturday, April 1, 2023, at Church of the Annunciation in Clark Mills. Arrangements by Owens-Pavlot & Rogers Funeral Service, Clinton.
