Obituary of Diana Dorris Sheridan

Diana D. Sheridan, 74, died February 17, 2023, unexpectedly but peacefully at St. Luke’s Hospital. 

She was born October 24, 1948, in the Panama Canal Zone, daughter of the late Ernest and Jeanne Dullea. Her educational experience was provided in a number of locations, due to her father being in active military service.  On April 6, 1991, Diana married the love of her life, Richard Sheridan, in St. Mary’s Church, Clinton.  Diana worked for and retired from Continental Airlines, working out of Detroit Metropolitan Airport as an airport sales agent.  Diana had also served in the United States Army, stationed at Fort Ord, California, processing soldiers returning from the Vietnam Conflict.  Diana enjoyed traveling and social media.  Despite health setbacks, Diana never lost her faith, hope, and sense of humor.  Diana was a proud member of Alcoholics Anonymous, through which she was able to achieve 36 years of continuous sobriety.   

Diana is survived by her husband, Richard; daughter Annie; son-in-law Erik Gunderson; granddaughters, Sophia and Gianna Syzek; mother-in-law, Patricia Sheridan; sisters-in-law, Jeanne Salvaggio, Judy Owens, Mary Bean, and Barbara Barron; and brother Dennis Dullea.   

Services will be at St. Mary’s Church, Clinton on Wednesday October 11th at 10:30 AM.  Inurnment will follow in St. Mary’s Cemetery.  Arrangements by Owens-Pavlot & Rogers Funeral Service, Clinton.
