Obituary of Beverly A Curtis

Beverly A. Curtis at age 92 passed away on December 5, 2022 in New Hartford, NY.

Beverly was born in Lyons, NY on September 6,1930 to the late Robert and Eva Talcott. She spent her early years in Wolcott, NY. She attended high School in Red Creek and went on to study music education at Potsdam State Teachers College.

In 1950 Beverly was married to Albert E. Curtis. Following early years in Sterling they moved to Fair Haven Bay. When their family was grown Beverly and Albert moved to Clearwater, FL. Upon retirement they moved to Poland, NY and eventually to the Sunset Wood Community in New Hartford, NY. 

Beverly was a mother of three and an active community worker at the Fair Haven Elementary School and other local affairs. Her greatest joy was in working at the churches where she and Albert lived especially in all phases of music and womens work. The churches were Sterling Methodist, Largo, FL, Christian Missionary Alliance, Poland, NY, Community Baptist and New Hartford Methodist.

She is survived by Her son, Albert E. Curtis III (Christine) of Chattanooga, TN; daughters, Nancy (Steve) Remington, of Clinton, NY, and Melanie (Sam) Davis, of Annapolis, MD; grandchildren, Ty (Abby) Remington, Tana (Brian) Case, Teal (Dylan) Reeves, Jennifer Curtis, Melanie (Trevor) Atchley, Albert (Jessica) Curtis; and ten great grandchildren. 

Beverly was truly blessed by family and friends. Her greatest desire was that the radiance of the Lord Jesus Christ be reflected in the life she lived.
