Obituary of Margaret Morrissette

Our beloved wife, mom, nana, grandma, passed away peacefully on September 13, 2022.  She was born in Syracuse on August 23, 1938 and was the daughter of the late Patrick and Margaret (Murphy) Olivia and a graduate of Solvay high school.

Marge was predeceased by her parents and siblings; Ann Palladino, Lorraine Lavine, Peter “Bud” Olivia and Patrick Olivia Jr.   She is survived by her husband Clarence, children Debra Morrissette, Gary (Beth) Morrissette, Karen Morrissette (Mike Thomas) and Todd Morrissette; sister Carol Huppmann, brother Larry (Mary) Olivia and sister-in-law, Mary Ellen Olivia; 11 grandchildren and 19 great-grandchildren, several nieces and nephews and her dog Princess. She loved her family so very much.

Marge was a huge Yankee fan and made it known her favorite player was Anthony Rizzo. She and Clarence never missed a game - sitting side by side in their recliners.

A private ceremony was held with the family with a Christian mass to follow at a later date.

Family would like to extend their gratitude to the staff at St. Elizabeth’s hospital for their kindness given to Marge.
