Obituary of Fannie Pryputniewicz

Fannie L. Pryputniewicz, 86, passed away peacefully on Monday, March 18, 2013 at the Siegenthaler Center with her daughters by her side.
She was born in Knoxboro, NY, on January 13, 1927, the daughter of John and Elizabeth (Schumaker) Vair. On January 26, 1952, she was united in marriage to Adam F. Pryputniewicz - a blessed union of almost 58 years until Adam's passing on January 5, 2010. Adam and Fannie, whom he called "Mother", where truly two halves of a whole, they were always together and were the true meaning of love and devotion. They enjoyed listening to music and dancing the Polka together. They worked together on the family dairy farm and she missed him dearly after his passing. Fannie was a giving and nurturing soul who loved to have company over and fed everyone who passed through her doors. Fannie was a devoted mother to her daughters and gave her loving care and affection to anyone who was in need. She was a member of the Home Bureau-Deansboro Doers, Oriska-Valley Senior Citizens, Westlanders, the Kirkland Senior Center and the Red Hat Society.
She is survived by her three daughters, Judy Seelman of Clinton, Donna (Edward) Ford of Waterville and Debbie Pryputniewicz of Clinton; six grandchildren, George (Justine) Hutchings, James (Margaret) Hutchings, John (Jill) Ford, James (Theresa) Ford and Kristy (Rob) Cowles; eight great-grandchildren; two sisters, Eva Ford and Daisy Spina; a brother, Roy Vair; a sister-in-law, Barbara Vair; and many nieces and nephews. She was predeceased by four brothers, Frank, Bob, Tom and John Vair, three sisters, Josephine Hotaling, Mary Jaquay and Alice Jaquay; and her deeply loved and missed granddaughter, Michelle Lyn Hutchings.
Funeral services will be held at 3pm Friday, March 22, 2013 at Owens-Pavlot & Rogers Funeral Service, Inc, 35 College St., Clinton. All are invited to call Friday from 1-3pm prior to the service. Burial will be in Crown Hill Memorial Park in the spring.
