Phyllis Peggy Meyer

   Phyllis Peggy Meyer, 88, of Clinton, passed away peacefully on June 22, 2022, with her loving family at her side at Faxton- St. Luke’s Hospital. She was born on May 6, 1934, in Akron, N.Y. a daughter of Sydney and Charlotte Reese Reigle. Phyllis relocated from Akron, N.Y. to Clinton, where she became an active member of her community. Phyllis was a member of the United Methodist Women’s Club of Clinton, Den Mother for Cub Scout Troop 89 of Clinton, member of the Kirkland Senior Center and Honorary member of the Clinton Lions Club. She was united in marriage to Nathan Meyer on February 24, 1956. This blessed union lasted 61 years until Nathan’s passing on December 14, 2017. Prior to her retirement Phyllis was employed by Holland Farms of Clinton, Martin Lutheran Home and McDonalds of Clinton.

   She is survived by her devoted children, Lance and Bonnie Meyer of Marcy, Laura Meyer Centolella of Chittenango, Lee and Patricia Meyer of Sibley Iowa, Ross and Karen Meyer of Madison, Linda and Todd Morris of Westmoreland ; a brother and sister-in-law, Sidney and Barbara Reigle; two sisters and brother-in-law, Colette and Ken Pagels and Donna Fisher; thirteen grandchildren and twenty-eight great grandchildren. Phyllis was predeceased by a sister, Theda Reigle.

   In lieu of flowers memorial contribution may be made to the Clinton Lions Club P.O. Box 61 Clinton N.Y. 13323.

   Funeral services will be held on Wednesday, June 29, 2022, at 12 P.M. at the Clinton United Methodist Church 105 Utica Road, Clinton, N.Y. Family and friends are invited to attend calling hours from 11 to 12 P.M. at the church prior to the service. Interment will take place in Sunset Hill Cemetery, Clinton.
