Obituary of Karan B. Johnson

Madison - Karan B. Johnson, 78, passed away April 26, 2022. She was born on March 12, 1944, the daughter of the late William and Emma (Manner) Sprinkle and graduated from VVS High School. Karan retired from Covidien after 37 years of service. She will be remembered for her quick wit and sense of humor. Karan was a kind and loving person who would not hesitate to help a person in need. She cherished her time spent with her grandchildren. She is survived by Her son William and Tracy Ritter of Kansas; two daughters Ann and Timothy Christ of Knoxboro and Billie Cresswell of Madison; three grandchildren, Hailee Christ, Shawn Christ and Diane Cresswell; four great-grandchildren, Belle, Paisley, Jayde and Lincoln; a brother Jerry Sprinkle of Spain; and two sisters, Louann and Bob Spargo of NC and Barb Andrews of Madison; and many nieces and nephews. A Celebration of her Life will be held at Noon Saturday, April 30, 2022, at Owens-Pavlot & Rogers Funeral Service, 35 College St., Clinton. All are invited to call on Saturday from 10am-12pm prior to the service.
