Elizabeth “Betty” Rewkowski Elizabeth Heiley Carpenter Rewkowski of Clinton, NY passed away in the comfort of her home on Monday, March 21, 2022. Betty was born in Utica, NY on December 11, 1925, a daughter to the late John W. and Mabel Severance Heiley Carpenter. She was a graduate of St Francis DeSales high school and a communicant of Holy Trinity Church and Church of the Annunciation. She married Edward A. Rewkowski on June 24, 1950, a blessed union of 58 years until his unfortunate passing in 2008. Betty retired from New York Telephone Company where she worked for 36 years. She was involved in many organizations including Home Bureau, Holland Patent Chapter of the DAR, Mohawk Valley Colonial Dames, Telephone Pioneers and she enjoyed each with extreme enthusiasm. She was a truly beautiful Mother, Grandmother, and Friend. Left behind to miss her forever are her children –Dennis, Downingtown PA, Mark and Dorothy, Westmoreland, NY, Michael, Clinton NY, MaryBeth and James Wahl, Clinton, NY, LoriAnn and Stephen Cosco, Westmoreland, NY; 9 grandchildren; 5 great-grandchildren; a nephew Stephen Rewkowski, Utica, NY, who was like a son to her; and a very special niece Kathy (Leo) Haynes, Syracuse, NY; also, close cousins, dear friends, and wonderful neighbors. Keeping with her wishes there will be no formal services, she will be honored privately by her immediate family. Arrangements by Owens-Pavlot & Rogers Funeral Service. In honor of her devotion to St Jude, those wishing to do so my make a donation to St Jude Children's Research Hospital in her memory. "Love you Mom, bye for now"
