Obituary of Michael W. Fox

Oriskany Falls-Michael W. Fox, 63, died Thursday December 9, 2021.
He was born on July 13, 1958, beloved son of the late Grant W. and Kathleen (Leach) Fox.
Michael started school in Washington Mills and then went on to BOCES in New Hartford. After he graduated from BOCES he went to the ARC on Arnold Ave in Utica. He loved all of his schooling and looked forward to program every day.
Michael was a devoted New York Yankees fan, he loved Derek Jeter. He was also a Buffalo Bills fan. His room was Yankees shrine.
Michael was always the love of his family’s life. He brought such a pure love and joy into his sisters’ life. They were a team and walked hand and hand through life. They were grateful they had each other. Whatever disabilities he had he tried every day to breeze through them. He was the best and he will be missed forever.
The family would like to thank Oneida-Lewis ARC and the wonderful staff at the Oriskany Falls group home, Theresa, Stephanie, Ally, Judy, and Alan. Thank you for the love and devotion you gave to Michael. They brought such happiness to hi, I thank you from the bottom of my heart. Also, a special thank you to Michael’s house mates.
Michael was predeceased by a beloved brother Bob, sister-in-law Angela, and his grandparents Grant R. and Myrtle Fox, who were very devoted to Michael.
He is survived by his sister, Jackie; his niece Angelica and her husband John Roddy; great nieces Carly and Mackenzie; special long-time friends, Sam and Joan Markowski; his aunt and uncle and several cousins.
All are invited to call on Tuesday December 14 from 5-7 PM at Owens-Pavlot and Rogers Funeral Service, Clinton. A Mass of Christian Burial will be held at 10:30 AM on Wednesday, December 15, at St. Mary’s Church in Clinton. Due to current COVID19 regulations masks will be required.
The family also would like to thank the Oriskany Falls Fire Department and Rescue.
