I remember when I was a little girl and we went up north to spend time with family he would always let us play and mess with him. Me, specifically had long hair and I would always play with the bits of hair on his head as I tried to cover his head with my hair so he'd have a full head of hair. He'd always smile as Grandma would laugh at little ol' me trying to get a reaction out of him. That memory will always stick with me because of how I made everyone in the room laugh but it was always the sweet little moments I remember. Like how he also would eat all the black seeds in my Watermelon and I thought he was Crazy! He's may physically be gone but never forgotten.

Dad, thank you for being the best Papa to Austin and Brooklyn. You set the bar pretty high for us parents - not sure how you and Mom had so much endless energy for them! Thank you also for being the best Dad! I remember getting to go inside the tractor trailer and you taking me to 7-11 for Big Wheel ice cream, going to air shows with you, sitting in your infamous rocking chair with you and watching Giants games. You’d take me shopping and to swim at the local lakes upon my request and gave me everything but made sure I stayed grounded. Thank you for taking us to church every Sunday so the importance of God would be instilled in me. You also taught me to be honest - I understood that pretty fast when I learned how to drive and I went to the grocery store and was so excited when I came home to tell you the cashier gave me too much change back and you instructed me to go right back to the store and give the money back to the cashier, as you informed me that the cashier’s missing money would need to come out of their pocket. One of the last things you said to me referenced me being your little girl (even at this age) and I will forever hold you saying that in my heart. You surely are missed but I know you haven’t really gone anywhere and will always be with us. Lots of love, your little girl❤️
