Obituary of Joanne I. Baye

Joanne I. Baye, 73, of Sherrill, NY, passed away on September 10, 2021. She was born on May 3, 1948, in Utica, NY, the daughter of the late Harold W. and Isabelle (Timian) Thurston. Joanne grew up in Clinton and attended Clinton Central School. She worked at Eden Park N.H. in Utica and at the Lutheran Care for several years as a CNA. Also, she worked for Ledfoot Courier Service for a number of years. Joanne enjoyed old western movies, country music and spending countless hours doing word search puzzles. She is survived by her brother and sister-in-law, Thomas and Barbara Thurston of Vernon Center; her niece Nicole; grandniece Evanne and her daughters Charlotte and Fynn; grandnephews Carl, Clayton, Colden and Gavin, all of Washington State. She was predeceased by her parents, her niece Danielle A. Thurston, and her dog "Happy". In keeping with Joanne's wishes, private services will be held for the family. Interment will be at Crown Hill Memorial Park. Arrangements by Owens-Pavlot & Rogers Funeral Service.
