Cooperstown-Harry “Bill” William Goodson Jr.,70, of Deansboro passed away on Wednesday, June 2nd, 2021 at Bassett Hospital in Cooperstown.
Bill was born on September 3, 1950 in Utica to Harry and Therese (Powers) Goodson. He was raised in Deansboro with his two brothers. After graduating high school, Bill worked many years as a trucker for Austin Powder. He enjoyed golfing and was a past member of the Barton Hose Company. When he retired, he kept busy by working on local farms.
Bill leaves behind his father, Harry Goodson Sr.; brothers, Jon and Mark; nephew, Daniel and wife Sheri; nieces, Brienne and Paige. He was predeaceased by his mother, Therese.
Services for Bill will be at a later date. He will be buried in Deanboro Cemetery. Arrangements entrusted to Owens-Pavlot & Rogers Funeral Service, Clinton.
In lieu of flowers please consider a donation in Bill’s name to the Barton Hose Company or the Deansboro Cemetery Association.
