Obituary of Judith Ann Carstensen

Judith A. Carstensen, 71, passed away unexpectedly on March 29, 2021. She was born in Utica on September 13, 1949, a daughter of the late Paul L. and Bessie Deep Asmer. Judy grew up in Clark Mills and graduated from Clinton Central School in 1967. She was united in marriage to Dennis Carstensen in 1985. Judy was a District Manager for Rite Aid for over 25 years. Judy rarely sat idle. She enjoyed golfing, playing cards, and going to the casino. Judy loved to cook meals for her family and cherished her time with her family, most of all. She is survived by her husband, Dennis; her children, Scott and Jackie Saville of Sherrill, Keith and Christine Saville of Chittenango, Justine and Scott Marquez of CA and Dennis and Lizeth Carstensen of CA; twelve grandchildren; her sisters and brothers-in-law, Sandy and Tom Anderson and Dianna and Gary Spaven; and many nieces and nephews. She was predeceased by her daughter, Kristen Saville-Beyer, her parents and her brother Paul Deep. All are invited to call Monday, April 5, 2021 from 4-7pm at Owens-Pavlot & Rogers Funeral Service, 35 College St., Clinton. Please wear a mask and respect current social distancing guidelines.
