Obituary of Carol Ann Boor

Carol A. Boor, 78, of Clinton, passed away February 6, 2021 at St. Elizabeth Medical Center. She was born in Melrose, MA on October 15, 1942 to the late Lawrence and Helen (Roberts) Stark. On May 22, 1965 she married the love of her life John Boor at the St. James Episcopal Church in Clinton. Carol worked for 50 years at Faxton Hospital and was the Manager of Medical Imaging, she loved her job, her hospital, and her office where she was known for keeping high spirits with her jars of candy. The one thing more important to Carol than her work was her family. She loved to travel with them to her home away from home Cape Cod. Carol was a very proud grandmother and great grandmother, she enjoyed spending as much time as she could with her grandchildren and great grandchildren. In the summer Carol could most often be found in her back-yard reading by the pool. She was an avid Boston Red Sox, Dallas Cowboys, and Syracuse Orangemen Basketball Fan. Carol will be greatly missed by her loving husband, John; her daughter, Becki and her husband Steve of New Hartford; son, Larry of Gilbert, Arizona; grandchildren, Lawrence Jr., Haley, Joseph; great-grandchildren, Carmine, Rocco; Siblings, David Stark, Debra Sainsbury; a large extended family and many friends. Services for Carol will be private to the family. She will be laid to rest in Crown Hill Memorial Park in the spring. Arrangements entrusted to Owens-Pavlot & Rogers Funeral Service, Clinton.
