Obituary of Anna F. Sharpe

Please share a memory of Anna to include in a keepsake book for family and friends.
Anna F. Sharpe, 49, passed away peacefully at home after a courageous battle with cancer on January 26, 2021, with her children by her side. She was born in Utica on November 15, 1971, the daughter of the late Alexander and Ella Mae (Stoffle) Immerman. Anna graduated from Utica College with a Bachelors in Biology and received her nursing degree from MVCC. She worked as a Registered Nurse at St. Luke’s Home for many years. Anna loved being a nurse and was passionate about her profession. Anna loved to laugh and her positive spirit resonated with her family and friends. When she was not working, she enjoyed traveling, scuba diving and spending time with her kids at their camp. Anna found solace by the water, but her true joy was her children. She is survived by her three children, Robert, Ryan and Sarah Sharpe; and her beloved dogs and cats. She was predeceased by her parents and her brother, Abraham Immerman. All are invited to call Friday, January 29, 2021 from 5-7pm at Owens-Pavlot & Rogers Funeral Service, 35 College St., Clinton. Funeral services will follow at 7pm. Her burial will be in Kirkland Cemetery in the spring. Please wear a mask and respect current social distancing guidelines. The family thanks Dr. Din, the nurses, and staff for all of their care and compassion during Anna’s illness. In lieu of flowers, please consider donations to FightColorectalCancer.org to continue Anna’s fight against cancer.
