James L. "Jonesy" Jones, 60, of Clinton, passed away Sunday, October 28, 2012.
He was born in Utica on November 6, 1951, a son of James L. and Jane Follmer Jones and attended Clinton Central School. He worked at Durante Sign and Rome Sign Company for many years. He loved to photograph nature and scenes of Clinton. Jonesy had a welcoming nature and could be found on the corner in Clinton, having coffee and talking to friends.
He is survived by his daughter, Sabra Jones of CA; his brothers and sisters;and a special friend.
Memorial calling hours will be held Friday, November 2, 2012 from 11am-1pm at Owens-Pavlot & Rogers Funeral Service, Inc, 35 College St., Clinton. Private services will be held for the family. Burial will be in Sunset Hill Cemetery.
Special thanks go out to all of the Doctors, Nurses and staff who took care of Jonesy.
