Obituary of Peter Pavlot Jr

Peter Pavlot Jr, 82, of Meeting House Rd, passed away peacefully at home, surrounded by his family, on Saturday, August 11, 2012.
He was born in Middleville, NY on October 15, 1929, a son of the late Peter and Josephine Zielinski Pavlot. On October 21, 1950, he was united in marriage to Ernestine "Tina" Waite. They shared 60 years of marriage before Tina's death in 2011. Peter was a dairy farmer for most of his life and retired from Mt. Markham where he was a bus driver and mechanic. He was a lifetime member of the West Winfield Fire Department and enjoyed going to livestock auctions and playing with his puppy "Crystal". He was a man who loved drives in the country and going sight-seeing. Most of all, Peter enjoyed spending time with his family and friends, especially his grandchildren and great-grandchildren.
He is survived by his two daughters, Ruth Ann Barrett and Dorothy Pavlot both of West Winfield; his son and daughter-in-law, Peter and Amy Pavlot of West Winfield; seven grandchildren, Tammy Simmons, Cory Barrett, Justin Pavlot, Daniel Allen, Stephanie DeSanno, Dale Decker Jr and Dee-Ann Decker; his brother-in-law, Reggie Scanlon; and several nieces and nephews. He was predeceased by his sister, Sophie Scanlon and his brothers, Thomas, John, Frank and Anthony Pavlot.
Funeral services will be held at Noon on Tuesday, August 14, 2012 at Owens-Pavlot & Rogers Funeral Service, Inc, 35 College St., Clinton. Burial will be in Cedarville Cemetery. Friends and family are invited to call Tuesday from 10am - Noon, prior to the service.
