Obituary of Lloyd F. Brown

Lloyd F. Brown, 83, of Clinton, passed away with his family by his side on Saturday, August 4, 2012 at Faxton-St. Luke's Hospital.
Lloyd was born May 30, 1929 and raised in Clark Mills by the late David and Dorothy Samways Brown and was also predeceased by his stepfather, Louis Pawlicki. After graduating from Clinton Central School, Lloyd went to work to help provide for his family. He was drafted into the US Army and served during the Korean War. Lloyd retired from Bendix Corporation with over 25 years of service. Lloyd had three children with his first wife, Myrna Barrett. On December 8, 1971, he was united in marriage to Jennie Newton. He was a member of the Clark Mills American Legion Post 26, was an avid NY Yankees fan, loved traveling, golfing and bowling. Most of all, Lloyd enjoyed spending time with his family and friends.
He is survived by his wife, Jennie Brown; his four children and their spouses, Gail Newton, Daniel and Jacqueline Brown, Diane Dean and Douglas and Jenifer Brown; six grandchildren and their significant others, Daniel Brown, Jr. and Angela Bowling, Carrie Brown and Melinda Brown, David Brown and Sara Collver, Ryan Dean, Erick Dean and Amber Brown; four great-grandchildren, Haylee Brown, Devin Brown, Ryan M. Dean and Landon Brown; two step-great-grandchildren, Kylee Evans and Alex Durant; his sister-in-law, Marlene Brown; many nieces, nephews, cousins and special friends locally and in Florida. He was predeceased by his brother Frank Brown.
Immediate family and close friends of Lloyd and Jennie are invited to attend graveside services at 11am Friday, August 10, 2012 at Kirkland Cemetery. There will be no public calling hours. Arrangements by Owens-Pavlot & Rogers Funeral Service, Inc, Clinton, NY.
The family sends a special thanks to Dr. Kashtavona, Dr. Wassel, the entire dialysis team and the nursing staff on 1st floor of Faxton-St. Luke's Allen-Calder unit.
